... who thinks Obama is willfully destroying the country.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/6241196/Andy-Williams-accuses-Barack-Obama-of-following-Marxist-theory.html
Andy Williams - Republican but close friend to the Kennedy's - has stated as much as well.
This hypothesis of mine is shared by many and an increasing number of people. This isn't a conspiracy theory. This isn't Glenn Beck. It's just common sense. Obama has surrounded himself all his life with Marxists, Communists, and others cut of far-left cloth. His actions betray his words.
So I'll say it again: he is purposely destroying the country. Not to see it become a smoking pile of rubble, but so as to remake it into a Socialist nation. I don't see what's so crazy about this assertion. Isn't it pretty obvious?

as soon as I saw this article, I knew you would have a comment. Seriously though? Do you really believe that? I mean, "destroy the country" is it possible for someone to jump through all the hoops to get to the presidency then turn around an purposely destroy the country you have just sworn to protect? I'm not sure I really understand all the fear in SOME change. Our government does supposedly have check system called the senate and the house. I'm also not quite sure how offering new ideas and policies during one presidency can destroy the country. Bush had us at war for goodness sake and if that hasn't taken it's toll on our country, I'm not sure what could. I think we need some alternative perspective. Our country is not the same as it was. I think it's time to try something new. Do I believe every new idea is great? No, but at least it's trying something new to solve some problems. Will it work? Maybe, maybe not. Don't you think something needs to change? Do you think staying the same course we have for all these years is really the better answer?
ReplyDeleteI have never advocated staying the same course as we have been. Do not misinterpret my opposition to Obama as support for Bush. I abhor war and particularly the Iraq war. Bush's "achievements" are comparable to Obama's thus far. My personal beliefs are much closer to Ron Paul than any Republican or any AM or cable news host.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll create a separate post to define what I mean by "destroy". I don't mean we'll be called something else, or that we'll have a police state, but rather that we will no longer be capitalist. Our country was founded on Christian principles, from which capitalism naturally flows.
And I have to take issue with the notion that Obama is trying ANYTHING new. His ideas are antiquated and have already been proven failures. The rest of the world continues to further embrace capitalism while we in the states run away from it.
We all know Christianity is pretty antiquated!!!! Being a card carrying Catholic I can say that. As far as Capitalism goes, is it really the end all be all? we can still be Capitalist and "try" something else. I'm not sure pure Capitalism is really working for our country anymore. Maybe it will again someday, but as of right now I think we need a little "help" getting back on track. Maybe what Obama is doing will work...maybe not, I'm just happy to hear different ideas thrown into the mix. I also don't think we can really compare ourselves to the rest of the world. Americans are lazy. We've become very complacent in our ways. The rest of the world seems to have a bit more drive right now.
